Watermen

This series tells the stories of several individuals who participate full time in the competitive world of Big Wave Surfing.  At first glance, they may appear as the modern day equivalent of daredevils going over Niagara Falls in a barrel but THE WATERMEN is a human story of ego and guts, fear and intelligence.  This is a story about consequences, where success is measured in physical survival, personal sacrifice, and the respect of one's peers.  

This multiple hour series introduces Big Wave surfers, each character keeping one eye on the waves and one eye on the competition.  In the 'doing' of their daily lives, revolving around preparing, finding, and riding the Wave, is our story - a perpetual beginning, middle, and end of a life most people never know.
