Shadow Wolves (Inside The Border Warriors)
Since 1972, the Shadow Wolves unit has worked for the U.S. government tracking drug smugglers on the Tohono O'odham Nation, a reservation that straddles Arizona and Mexico. The Tohono O'odham Indians originally gave the U.S. government permission to post these Customs officers on its land with the stipulation that the officers' have an ethnic heritage of at least one-quarter American Indian.
We follow the agents as they demonstrate their traditional tracking methods in the hunt for smugglers as well as learn more about the history of the Shadow Wolves and the important role they play in the War against Drugs.
